Questions

How much epoxy for a 1/8 inch coat?

One square foot at ⅛" deep is 18 cubic inches, about 10 fluid ounces. A 2' × 4' tabletop (8 sq ft) needs about 80 fl oz plus extra for edges and drips.

How do I measure epoxy by weight?

Resin and hardener have different densities, so use the manufacturer's weight ratio if you mix on a scale rather than splitting by volume.

How deep can I pour epoxy?

Tabletop epoxies are usually poured ⅛" to ¼" per layer. Deep pour or casting resins can go 1–2" or more per layer. Check your product's limit.
